Hi my name is Brittney Kaiser. I am the 2007 Region 8 Youth Director. I have been riding horses for 10 years, and I have been showing for 8 of those years. I started showing 4-H, in Boulder Colorado, and I began showing Arabians 3 years ago. I currently show my Purebred Gelding, Apollo In Bay, in Western Pleasure and Horsemanship and my Half-Arab Hunter Mare, Spots Cyted ROF in Hunt Seat Eq. I train with Diane Underwood at Flatirons Springs in Boulder. Over this past year I went to Youth Nationals and received a Top Ten in HA Hunter Eq. After attending the AHYA Board of Directors meeting in Louisville, Kentucky during the U.S. Nationals, I am excited about this show season and Youth Nationals 2007. I will be serving on the Equitation Rules Committee with Chair Brittany Butterworth. Plans are under the way for Youth Nationals next year, we should look forward to the traditional judging contest, dog costume, creative contest, parade of regions and more. This year I will be serving with Vice Director Lilly Meisner. We have several goals that we would like to accomplish. We are hoping to establish a complete Region 8 board, more delegates for Convention at Youth Nationals, fund-raising to support these goals, and an higher involvement from Region 8.
